A Typical Day In School ( adapted by TMPBOAT)

The bell rung loud, it was deafening,
signaling the diurnal onset of inhibition
robots fashioned for a single purpose,
with tainted hearts begin their daily procedures

period by period the rust soon bears
one by one the efficiency wears
'wake up! this is your future, your life!'
stand up! the rusted joints takes to the airs

time waits for time
cares that much it does
only to leave the uniformed products
stone out and rust

Now, that does look pretty familiar. i miss the times when i took lit in secondary school and got the chance to express all my emotions and feelings. It like everything within me just wants to pour itself out and relate to the poem and the author as much as possible. The use of alliteration, repetition, rhythm and personification. Yea i kinda miss those stuff. but of course my proficiency in the english language has always been that barrier, hindering me from pouring out my true feelings for any particular poem or prose.

TODAY
Had young adults meeting for the first time today, and i must say, the direction we're heading now seems quite appropriate for us( now that we're growing, and our needs do change).
but like Crystal said,

'We just want you all to be strong Christians'

Well, it doesn't get anymore complicated than that does it? Sometimes we tend to think too deep. I'm not saying that thinking deep is wrong, but sometimes when we think deep, we're trying to use own knowledge, our own reasoning, our own explanations, and thus fail to listen to what God has to say. Sometimes, when we pray for answers, we tend to try to 'think up' an answer and then think/hope that it's from God. Well i guess the only way is to spend more time in that secret space of yours, talk to God and even if you think you're talking to a wall...persevere, and you'll soon see that Jesus Christ is real. Oh and im sure Jesus wants us to first seek his kingdom, depend on him to mould us into strong Christians, and simply be, strong, PASSIONATE, Christians. (=

I'm really encouraged too by those who've decided to fast and yea since you peeps just started not long ago, i just wanna take this opportunity to encourage you all the preservere and pray double, triple...x100 times more during this period. I'll be praying for you all!- that through this fast you'll grow so much closer to God, so much more humbled, and so much more dependent on him.

Singing's passion.
blogging's passion.
yea...singing's passion...

Chinese cow year of 2009 flew by just slow enough for me to set a new high score for word challenge( FYI W.O HELP)
hmmm if only i were Chuck Norris, then time would wait more for me.

ok so here's what i've been noticing
some, if not many, have termed me as the 'compulsive liar'
Why? you may ask...
Well i myself am perplexed and baffled by this phenomenon.
i mean, is it the pranks calls?
could it be the faking of the voice?
or perhaps just perhaps the helping of a friend in an innocent game of catan?

Well the solid answers remain at large
but what i do have for you passionators, passionately reading this passionate blog, are some reasons why the title of 'compulsive liar' truely does not belong to the passionate blogger

first lets define 'compulsive'
- according to world renowned search engine http://www.namesohard.blogspot.com/, the word compulsive was derived from that of the semi indian-latin breed. it means 'to be driven by an irresistible inner force to do something'. And We all know that to be driven by an irresistible inner force would mean that one would have to be possessed. that definitely isn't true for the case of the passionate blogger, and thus 'compulsive' cannot be used.

now for 'liar'
- a liar, as we all know, never tells the truths after he lies(cause that defeats the purpose of lying right?), unless interogated or tortured. however, for the case of the passionate blogger,he tells the truth directly after telling a lie...so it's not a lie...can't be classified as a lie...will never be.....

So that's that for settling some issues and i hope you guys understand that every effort has been made to search for the definitions of these words. no part of this post may be reproduced or transmitted in any form by any means, electronic, mechanical, recording or otherwise, without the prior blogged permission of http://www.namesohard.blogspot.com/.

So it's been about a year since i last touched blogger and i must say...
blogging's rather fun.

lost the passion, I have not.
a double portion of fervour and zeal, i have attained.

anyway

I have acquiesced to the bids of posting this latest entry, and i shall do so in a most dogmatic approach. I mean i won't want to keep my passionate readers beleaguered by the fact that i have treated blogging as just a mere sojourn. you see blogging is my vivacity. It is by no means drudgery or labour. i do so paramountly for the sake of fervidness and passion alone. Castigate the lack of ardent but do grasp that besides being zealous, one, at times, would have to possess the element of capriciousness to proliferate his blog's niche. rest assured this site does not base itself on extraneous information, and if need be, odious comments would be to the fullest extent be practiced with euphemism.

oh and i more thing

if you lack adriotness, consult the dictionary.

Fuel

It was an awesome time of praise, worship and prayer.

Felt tired the whole time. School was long. First test, second vectors, third chem practical. sounds fun...

But you know what, our moods, our feelings, our energy levels. They don't matter. Praise God even when we're tired, praise him because you're seeking him in a crisis, praise him because you think he's not there, yet his word reassures you that he is! Praise him in your failure, praise him in your successes, praise him when you;re down, praise him because HE DIED AND ROSE AGAIN. Praise him because He is JESUS.

oh ... and Daddy Jesus, if you're reading...
i hope you like this post!

I will praise always
Till the end of days
Gonna stand strong, stand tall
Cos Jesus Christ is Lord of ALL!

'A thousand times I've failed

Still your mercy remains
And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out'

Well, TMPBOAT is back after a short break.
Well, school has been mostly about tests that are impossible to score
Well. home has been mostly about sleep over study
Well, study has been going smoothly but slowly
Well, that's about all i can say to compact the few days of school

Oh, do check this out. PRANK CALLING
it works if your're good at it

'Hello this is alaine calling from Temasek jc ( admin staff).
Is this Debra Lim Vming from Katong Convent Secondary School?

Yes would, I would like to inform you that we have several open slots for the DSA sign up through
netball and you have been short listed to sit for an interview.
Yes, If you are interested please report at TJC’s general office next Monday(19 Jan) at 2pm.
I would also want to take this opportunity to inform you that this DSA route would mean that you have to stick with your CCA throughout the two year span.

Do inform wendy if you want to go for crossover camp 2009.'

Haha, so that was just a little prank call to payback what some 'pizza women' had installed for me the other day.
Just some little facts for you passionate readers out there who want to learn how to prank call...
1) always choose someone gullible enough
2) always prepare a script, stumbling might give you away
3) always try to relate the topic of the conversation to what the person is going through
4) for more information do sign up for 'Prank Calling 101' to receive further studies in the art of prank calling
cost- nothing
result - passionate prank caller

It's been a 'month' since school started.
More and more, the stress keeps building
Priorities have to be put in place
God has to be that number one

Next Week haunts me... it really does...
The fact that fellow bloggers can put in day to night effort of studying...
and i, at my max, can only do about 4-6 hours...
no don't think that's very good... i need breaks
lots and lots of breaks...

At this year has started with some relatively good information
like how Ee Tung has been replaced...that's God given...
and perhaps Ms Shah was a little too easy going last year...and a change in bio pressure would be good

Mr wong stays...well, that's good...though sometimes the things he says really make you feel so guilty of not studying...check this out...

'The next year will be over before you know it, and you don't want to be caught taking the A levels with 'your pants down'. Every little thing counts from now on. Ten years down the road, you'll forget my name, your classmates names, and even which class you were in, but your A level grade will stick with you for a long time.

Cheers, happy new year.

Mr Wong'

See get it...and he does this quite a lot...esp when you have 1-1s with him...he'll teach you chem...then bring you on a guilt trip...inspire you to study fervently for the next two weeks...die down in passion...and then you have to see him again for yet another dose. haha that's pretty much the nature of that dude...cool nonetheless.
i like the way he ends of his message though... with all that guilt talk...and then... cheers happy new year...
yea. a lil anti-climax, but it does give you a lil reassurance that he is still human and has a life...(you know care about happy new years and all..).....fine...perhaps you don't get it...but i do...

yet perhaps you do...
k this is going no where..

oh and guess what, im 18 already.
i want this i want that...i can have this i can have that...
that's being 18 for you...
i think

to all you january kiddos out there, cheers!

haha

Anyway, today was quite a fun day, especially with the St' Hildas secondary orientation and all.
Could see the kids were having some fun finding the many tokens that we hid. It was fun, seeing them go like' where leh.... tell ...just tell lah! please, please!'
haha, and who can say no to that??? tell me who can say no to those adorable kiddos?
ME

haha, gotcha
no, I'm not so mean... gave them so many clues.. cos deep deep down down in that affectionate heart of mine, i actually wanted them to find the tokens and go yay...

Signing off with red passion

Deoxyribonucleotides

The building blocks of the deoxyribonucleic acids or what we so call, DNA. deoxyribonucletides, made from a 5-carbon sugar delicately bonded to a molecule of phosphoric acid and pyrimidine base, undergoes further condensation to form polynucleotides thus giving rise to a single sided chain of DNA starting from the 5' direction.

ok before i nerd it all out, i just wanna thank God...I CAN NOW ENTER THE ZONE...yea...the zone. you know when you sit there and do nothing but absorb gibberish from your lecture notes rewrite it out out on a blank peice of paper with your worst hand writing you can ever concoct ....
YES THAT'S THE ZONE...
yea, it feels good...long lost feeling since after the september promos...(wow, that's long)

Anyway yes be proud, passion's finding it's way into my studies and that's a good thing. Hopefully, the coming week would be filled with these type of 'zone' time.

anyway now...WORD CHALLENGE. who wanna challenge me??? who wanna???
haha, boogle and WC, never imagined myself to be so addicted to this kind of stuff. but i have to admit...it's fun... real fun
play more of it..you'll do well for GP.

It's the 2nd day of the year. only about 363 days left till 2010. i can't wait!
This year, i shall believe and have faith in the phrase... 'time flies...'
I'm kinda looking forward to school and all.
i really miss the guys and gals in class..but hmm... the work load just turns me off...ugh

Anyway, yea life's kinda reverting back to the monotonous style of absorbing knowledge from wood pulp into that grey matter of mine. sounds fun yea...I LOVE IT
I REALLY DO...
i shall, and will, and must, most definitely find the passion that hides within the pages of my notes. The passion that comes naturally after i take in every page of chem AND math AND bio AND Gp AND econs. the passion that drives Obama to take over a bush, the passion the drives Gates to earn so much that donating is the only way he can spend faster than he earns, the passion that drove the person who invented the word 'passion' because no other word could describe it. the passion...yes the passion..SHALL OVERFLOW LIKE FIRE

ok, so that's me practicing some self motivation...yea, just getting ready for the coming As
hope you other J2s out there do the same...
hah

oh...I'll give 20 cents to the person who can count the number of 'passion's in this post
